How To
Play: Divide
the group into teams and sit in a line.
Each child has a straw and the first person to start inhales in their
straw to pick up the first ornament from the basket in front of them and then
they turn to the next person and exhales to release the ornament into their
hands. They then use their straw to pick
up the ornament and pass it to the next person.
So on until all the ornaments are in another basket at the end of the
line. No hands to be used.
This is a
fun and cheap game with a host of developmental benefits. For example:
- To take turns
- To self-regulate
- To work as a team
- To co-operate
- To negotiate
- To develop play skills
- To laugh and have fun
